Sustain Algoma Expo

On Saturday, July 16, 2022, attend the fun family event that promotes living sustainably in Algoma! This event will feature unique initiatives and products that include food & agriculture, wood products, water management, social enterprise and arts & culture. The Kensington Conservancy, Clean North, Central Algoma Freshwater Coalition, Invasive Species Centre, Johnson Farmers' Market, and the St. Marys River Remedial Action Plan are proud hosts of the Sustain Algoma Expo. Paddle with a Purpose Tour

Recreational paddlers are encouraged to ‘Paddle with a Purpose’ this year in waterways across Niagara. Join the Invasive Species Centre and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority at one of two Paddling Tours to learn how to identify and report European water chestnut (EWC) observations. EWC (Trapas natans) is an aggressive invasive aquatic plant that has been detected in the Welland River.
