Paddle With a Purpose
Due to the weather forecast for this upcoming weekend, we have made the decision to postpone the Paddle with a Purpose event at Young’s Harbour Park in Keswick. The event has been moved from this Saturday, September 7th to Saturday, September 14th at 10am. If this is your first time hearing, water soldier was recently detected in Lake Simcoe, and we need your help! Workshop: Protect the Greenbelt from Spotted Lanternfly
Join us for a workshop on preventing, identifying, and reporting spotted lanternfly. This invasive insect poses a significant threat to the ecology and agricultural production of Ontario's Greenbelt. Participants will learn about spotted lanternfly's impacts, how it spreads, and what they can do to help protect the Greenbelt from this invasive species. Open to vineyard owners and managers, woodlot owners, horticulturalists, government and conservation authority staff, gardeners, and all members of the public.
