Invasive Species Centre Risk Assessment Database

Risk assessments identify, evaluate, and estimate the level of risk of a potential invasive species or pathway. They are an important tool in invasive species management, and are used to inform, prevent, prioritize, and respond.

The goal of these two databases is to provide a record of completed risk assessments relevant to North America. These assessments have been completed by a range of government and non-government organizations. Contact the ISC today if you have complete risk assessments and would like them to be added to the database.

How to use the database

These columns are sorted alphabetically by using the small arrows to the left of the column heading.

You can change the number of entries per page in the upper left-hand corner of the database from 10 to 20, 25, 50 or 100.

In the upper right corner is a search engine to allow users to find specific information on a species.

Under the “Citation or Assessing Organization” column click on the hyperlink to proceed to the organizations risk assessment.

In the bottom right corner of the database, click on “next” to proceed to the next page or click “previous” to go back to the last page.
